Regional Information Vol.3 "Mount Akagi Family Slope" 2026 Season

A fun spot to play in the snow with your children

There are plenty of winter activity spots around Akagi-shuku that the whole family can enjoy!
Akagisan No. 1 Ski Resort is known as "Japan's smallest ski resort" and is a popular snow play spot for families.

Rather than serious skiing or snowboarding, this is the perfect environment for those who want to casually experience playing in the snow, or for children to try skiing for the first time. There is a snow escalator, so it is also ideal for first-time ski practice.
