Fireworks festivals are held in various locations throughout Gunma Prefecture from July to September, and the large fireworks that burst into the clear night sky will make your travel memories even more vivid.
We've selected some noteworthy fireworks displays that are accessible by car from Akagi-shuku. Combine them with your stay and enjoy a luxurious summer evening.
69th Maebashi Fireworks Festival (Maebashi City)
This is one of the largest fireworks displays in Gunma Prefecture, set on the banks of the Tone River.
The impressive displays include a wide 800m wide star mine and rainbow fireworks that change into seven colors. We recommend viewing from the venue where you can see the wide view.

51st Takasaki Festival Fireworks Display (Takasaki City)
A spectacular fireworks display with fireworks launched non-stop for 50 minutes.
This fireworks display, which marks the finale of the Takasaki Festival, is also a highlight, with its highly artistic large fireworks and wide starmines.

Numata Fireworks Festival (Numata City)
This fireworks display is unique in the prefecture as it is launched from a "fireworks tower."
